What you’ll do

Strategic and operational projects coordinated from the CEO’s office will be facilitated, managed, and evaluated by the Business Manager and Head of Strategy: CEO Office.

By providing the CEO with excellent operational insights, business analysis, and strategic guidance, the position will drive strategic direction.

Business Manager

following up on agreed-upon action items and taking action in management meetings.
• Making presentations for strategic meetings, board meetings, senior management meetings, in-country review meetings, etc. Based on a thorough comprehension of the business and its dynamics, on behalf of the CEO
• Assist in the creation of the quarterly Board pack by working with other important, pertinent stakeholders.
• Work together with the finance director to prepare and facilitate financial analyses of the company’s various divisions.
• Follow up on behalf of the CEO and discuss strategic and operational issues with the senior management team.

The CEO may assign additional duties to the MD’s Office’s Business Manager.

Head of Strategy
•  Work with the CEO and EXCO to create, convey, and carry out Tanzania’s long-term plan in accordance with the Vodacom Group’s strategy.
• To guarantee coherence and alignment with the Group’s strategic direction, collaborate closely with the Group Strategy team.
• Assist Tanzania in completing unique strategic projects while maintaining focus and alignment throughout the company. To make sure that the top strategic initiatives are carried out successfully, the executive is in charge of execution monitoring.
• Lead Vodacom’s thought leadership agenda with a solid grasp of international technology and telecom trends.
• Gain a thorough understanding of Vodacom Group and Vodafone’s global strategic priorities.
